Yun TANG had success in international stages for her passionate and elegant style. She is prizewinner of Mozart International Violin Competition Salzburg (2nd prize, 2020), Sweden International Duo Competition (1st prize, 2019), Yankelevitch International Violin Competition (3rd prize, 2018), International Violin Competition “Andrea Postacchini” (2nd prize, 2017),  Schoenfeld International String Competition (1st prize, 2016) and more.

Yun appeared as soloist with orchestras, including China Philharmonic, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, Zhejiang Chinese Orchestra, the Viennese Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Salzburg Chamber Soloist, Omsk Philharmonic Russia, Lausanne Camerata and Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra.

As a vivid musician in both solo and chamber, She has made appearances in festivals such as Shanghai Spring International Music Festival,Shanghai MISA Summer Festival, Bowdoin Festival in United States, Gstaad Menuhin Festival in Switzerland, Julita Chamber Festival in Sweden.

Her major mentors include Lina Yu, Pierre Amoyal, Rainer Schmidt and Evgeni Sinaiski. She was also inspired by great artists under their guidance, such as Gerhard Schulz, Benjamin Schmid, Pavel Gililov, and Jacques Rouvier. She received her bachelor’s degree at Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and her master’s degree at Mozarteum University Salzburg. She has achieved China National Scholarship in 2013 and 2020.
